STATE LEVEL PRIMARY SCHOOL TOURNAMENT BEGINS...
The primary school students from all districts of HP are participating in this state level tournament at Kullu.This will go w.e.f 24th to 28th of this month.There is so much rush in the Dhalpur ground to see the sports events and stalls had been put to attract the audiances.There will be cultural programmes too where one will be able to see variable colors of HP.

SARVARI NULLAH IN WRATH MOOD TODAY..
Today mood of sarvari nullah was not good.Just glance the confluence of river Beas and her contributory Sarvari nullah at Bhootnath junction.The residents of Hanumani Bag got frightned to see the wrath mood of Sarvari and some of Tibbetians living here could n't sleep whole night in fear of flood.Luckily there is no loss and as rain has stopped now and fear is over.
RAIN HITS LIFE AGAIN...
The slashing heavy post-monsoon rain since last night have hit the normal life in Kullu.The floods and pouring land slides in Badah nulah and many others in left bank side of Khrahal area have also created the problem for traffic in the ear...ly morning.The Himachal Govt.have declared the holiday in schools now in fear of land slides.The river Beas is also seems to be in anguish as water level have raised above danger points in some areas.But there is no need to fear as this rain is lashing for short while and monsoon itself is in its last heavy showers of the session.

आखिर जाते-जाते मानसून कुछ न कुछ कहर बरसा कर जाना चाहता है. जिला कुल्लू में सोमवार सुबह करीब चार और साढ़े चार बजे के करीब दो बादल फटने से भारी तबाही मची है। इस घटना से जहां तीन पुल क्षत...िग्रस्त हो गए हैं, वहीं आधा दर्जन के करीब गाडिय़ां टूट गई हैं। इस प्राकृतिक आपदा के कारण करोड़ों का नुकसान होने का अनुमान है। बादल फटने से खराहल गांव के लगभग 15-20 घरों को खतरा हो गया है। उक्त घरों में पानी घुसने से सारा राशन-पानी व बिस्तर आदि नष्टï हो गए हैं। लगभग 25 लोग एक ही घर में पनाह लिए हुए हैं। पीज में बादल फटने से जहां लगवैली के लिए जाने वाले रोड पर बना लोहे का सरवरी नाले पर बड़ेई पुल क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया, जिससे लगवैली जिला मुख्यालय से कई दिनों के लिए कट गई है। इसके अलावा पीज का लिंक रोड पूरी तरह तहस-नहस हो गया है। उक्त रोड का कही नामो निशान तक नहीं बचा है।
इसके अलावा दूसरा बादल खराहल में फटने से भी चार नालों के पानी ने खराहल घाटी में भारी तबाही मचाई है। उक्त नालों ने बिजली महादेव जाने वाले रोड पर बना पुल तोड़ दिया है। पूरी तरह तहस-नहस हुए पुल के कारण बिजली महादेव जाने वाला रोड भी कई दिनों के लिए बंद हो गया है। वहीं खराहल घाटी के लगभग 15 अनुसूचित जाति से संबंधित लोगों के मकान में भारी मलबा घुसने से उनका राशन-पानी पूरी तरह नष्टï हो गया है। उक्त लोगों के घरों को नुकसान भी हुआ है।
वहीं पीज में बादल फटने से पानी मलबे सहित शास्त्रीनगर व गांधीनगर में पहुंच गया। इससे एक ट्रक मलबे में धंस गया, वहीं दो कारें भी टूट फूट गई हैं।
शास्त्रीनगर में जब मेन रोड पर मलबा आया तो उस समय ट्रक ड्राइवर ट्रक के अंदर ही सोया हुआ था। हालांकि इन प्राकृतिक आपदाओं से किसी जान का नुकसान नहीं हुआ है, लेकिन खराहल के न्योली में एक मोटरसाइकिल भारी मलबे ने ब्यास नदी तक पहुंचा दिया। वहीं मिडल स्कूल न्योली की पानी की टंकी भी ब्यास नदी में आ पहुंची। इसके अलावा न्योली स्कूल को भारी नुकसान पहुंचा है। यही नहीं खराहल वैली में दो गाएं भी बादल फटने से बह गईं। गांधीनगर व शास्त्रीनगर में सड़क के बीचोंबीच भारी मलबा नाले के रूप में बहा। इससे जहां उक्त रोड यातायात के लिए बाधित रहा, वहीं वामतट मार्ग भी इससे अछूता नहीं रहा। बहरहाल जिला कुल्लू में भारी बारिश व बादल फटने के कारण भारी तबाही मची है। जिससे करोड़ों का नुकसान हुआ है।

A new showroom cum shopping store (on metropolitan market culture )have been opened in Beasa Moud,kullu named as “ANURAGS”.There is heavy rush in the store and now shoppers have option in the town to get the things of best quality.Already e...xisting is AMAR TAX and one that couldn’t make it out was SELF STORE(now closed on its failure).All grocery items,garments and even spectacles are also available in the new shopping store.This sort of market culture is very much liked by locals because they get the best quality and variety of stocks under one roof as well.Beware other old shopkeepers,now change is suppose to occur in market culture in towns falling nearby rural areas.
It is also heard that very soon Kullu(after Manali) will have another multiplex cinema hall in SHOBLA HOTEL complex.The supposed inauguration is fixed on this Dushera by MP Mr.Birbhadra Singh,the steel minister for GOI.This cinema hall too work on direct downloding through sattellite and one can see premiers here in Kullu too.Surely,Kullu is turning in a town with modern facilities.
NO BUYERS IN GANDHI KUTIR AND SHILP BAZAR...
The running Gandhi kutir Shilp bazar at dhalpur kullu(4th to 13th of Sep)is empty and very rare shoopers are purchasing the items.There is neither crowd pulling items and nor the stalls are overbooked.The shopkeepers have arrived here from miles away sothern states to earn money but items are decorative only and are not concerned with basic ameneities.Chosey shoppers can go and loose your pockets for antiques,chappls,bangles,salvar-kurtas,mates and also please dont forget to watch katputli dance with pop-corn in your hand.
MY GREETINGS TO U ALL FOR TODAY...
This time,11th of Sept.is the day to celebrate above two festivals which are very much important to two diffrent communities.In Kullu particularly,Bhunter is celebrating the Ganesha Chturthi and the also not to forget GHOUDOUR where is a be...autiful temple of Lord ganesha and locals worship this god with adhesion.
Muslim brothers too live in Kullu area but are in least majority.It is the surrounding of Bajoura where Gujjars in particular live and they follow Islaam.I again pay my hearty freetins to you all friends on this festival day.
MOMENT OF CHIT-CHAT AND JOY...
These local ladies from Kullu are very industrious.Beside looking after their home ,they also work hard to fetch some buks from Tourism industry and most fascinating thing about them is their lively nature.They keep themselves happy in all circumstances.The photo shown above reflects that nature which is visible in their faces.
AGAIN NO INVITATION TO SHRINGA RISHI AND BALU NAG...
17 अक्टूबर से शुरू होने वाले कुल्लू दशहरे में प्रशासन ने इस बार भी अंतरराष्ट्रीय कुल्लू दशहरा लोक उत्सव में बालू नाग व श्रृंगा ऋषि को निमंत्रण पत्र नहीं भेजा है। ऐसा इस लिए किया गया है ताकि धार्मिक उत्सव में शांति का माहौल बनाये रखा जा सके...,दशहरा उत्सव में प्रशासन ने 290 देवी-देवताओं को निमंत्रण पत्र भेजे हैं।
उत्सव के पहले और आखिरी दिन होने वाली भगवान रघुनाथ की रथयात्रा के दौरान धुर यानी दाईं ओर चलने को लेकर दोनों देवताओं के मध्य चल रहा विवाद नहीं सुलझ पाया है। दोनों देवताओं के देवलु॒ धुर॒ में चलने को लेकर अड़े हुए॒ हैं।यहाँ तक कुछ वर्ष पूर्व प्रशासन को बल का प्रयोग भी करना पड़ा था . लिहाजा, विवाद नहीं सुलझने के कारण इस साल भी प्रशासन दोनों देवताओं को निमंत्रण पत्र नहीं भेजेगा।
कुल्लू जिले में कुल 365 देवी-देवता पंजीकृत हैं। अन्य देवी-देवताओं को जोड़ दें तो आंकड़ा 400 के पास पहुंच चुका है। कुल्लू में अठारह करड़ू की जय-जयकार है। इसी के तहत भगवान रघुनाथ जी महाराज के दाई ओर चलने को लेकर दो देवताओं बालू नाग व श्रृंगा ऋषि का विवाद बढ़ता जा रहा है। इस विवाद को धुर विवाद से भी जोड़ा गया है।
दशहरा समीति की बैठक में खुलासा हुआ है कि इस बार भी इन दो देवताओं को पिछले वर्ष की तरह दशहरा लोक उत्सव में नहीं बुलाया जाएगा और उन्हें निमंत्रण पत्र नहीं दिए गए हैं। पिछले वर्ष दशहरा लोक उत्सव में 219 देवी-देवताओं ने हाजिरी भरी थी। इस बार प्रशासन अधिक से अधिक देवी-देवताओं को बुलाने के प्रयास में हैं।
प्रशासन के लिए बालू नाग व श्रृंगा ऋषि का मामला हमेशा परेशानी भरा रहता है। देवी-देवताओं की राय सबसे बड़े देवता के समक्ष उठाई जाए तो धुर विवाद हल हो सकता है। गौरतलब है कि पिछले वर्ष भी प्रशासन व सरकार ने दो देवताओं के विवाद को हल करने में पूरा जोर लगाया था लेकिन मामला हल नहीं हुआ। पिछले वर्ष भी दोनों देवता बिना निमंत्रण के दशहरा पर्व में आ पहुंचे थे। इसलिए दशहरा समीति के चेयरमैन ने दशहरा लोक उत्सव की प्राचीन परंपरा व देवी-देवताओं के मान सम्मान पर प्रशासन को अधिक बल देने तथा मामले को हल करने को कहा है।
The ego clash among devlus is not a good sign.The kardars,devlus and local administration should amicably solve this dispute otherwise the cermonial rath yatra of Raghunath will become null and void in future in the absence of some of these dities.Resolving this dispute is the need of hour.
GOOD NEWS,NOW APPLE MARKET BOOMS...
Now the kullu apples is going to give sweet prices to its owners.There is respite from incessant rain and festival season in Maharashtra has brought some cheers to growers with apple market beginning to look up at last. Prices of best quali...ty fruit of superior varieties have increased by 20 to 25 per cent over the past two days.
The rates of superior varieties like royal delicious, which ranged between Rs 550 and Rs 700 per box over the past almost one month, are now fetching upto Rs 900 per box. Average rates of relatively inferior varieties like red golden have also increased from Rs 350 to Rs 500 per box.
The increase is attributed to weakening of the monsoon in the northern region as a result of which more fruit is being lifted from markets. Besides, the festival season in Maharasthra, one of the biggest consumers of apple in the country, has also pushed up the demand.
However, the growers were facing a new problem in Delhi market due to steps taken by the local administration to regulate traffic. In all, only 400 trucks from Shimla and Kullu were being allowed entry everyday and only those vehicles which entered the national capital before midnight were issued passes. Rest of the vehicles were made to wait for the next day at the border. The delay caused in reaching the market led to ripening of fruit, which, in turn, fetched lower prices.
Not only that, the additional day or two the trucks had to wait in Delhi, added to the shortage of vehicles. So far, 2.24 crore boxes have been exported out from the state and in all, 49,218 trucks have left the state to various markets. In comparison, only 1.26 crore boxes were sent out in 2007 when the state recorded the highest ever production till date.
Growers want the government to take up the matter with the Delhi administration to allow all trucks to enter the market without restriction as apple was a perishable commodity and the crop was already delayed.
Shortage of trucks is hampering the transportation of apple procured under the market intervention scheme (MIS). Out of the over 22,000 tonnes of fruit procured till date, only about 14,000 tonnes had been lifted and the remaining over 8,000 tonnes is awaiting transportation at collection centres for which 850 trucks are required.

EXPANSION OF MODERN SOLANG VILLAGE...
Hotels,cottages,resorts and commercial dhabas are the new avtars for this area.Though not a virgin area as thousands of tourists visit here in a year and making money was a seasonable blessing by the nature but now these permanent settlements (may look beautiful on first instance)will certainly spoil the beauty of area in future as we all are aware about nature's fury or revange.What we need is the planned expansion instead of hapazard one.

Today is the birthday (5 September)of the second President of India, academic philosopher Dr.S.Radhakrishnan.. It is considered a "teachers" day and on this occassion,I convey my heartiest greetings to all my teacher friends and student as ...well. The staff of schools falling in Kullu area have already celebrated it yesterday as Sunday have rolled in today and students are also busy in sports and tournaments.
This school is situated very far away on the remote hill and the area is known as Hallan-II towards upper Kullu.Though the atmosphere is very rustic but the zeal for teaching is in abloom.The students and teachers have to walk miles to reach in this school but they do it happily.May the spark of education should blossom here and teacher should be able to impart higher moral,ethical values to bright students of my area.
